AVCTL and Wichita City League High School Bowling Tournaments turn out to be quite eventful for two young ladies.

Keri Ladigo, a 15 year old sophmore of Andover Central High School competed in the AVCTL Division II League Championships held at Northrock Lanes Friday February 17th. Keri, a long time youth bowler at Northrock, had games of 298, 255 & 248 for a remarkable 3 game series of 801. In great fashion, miss Ladigo won the league championship and then went on to continue her success by winning the recent regional championship which advances her to the State competition that will be held this Friday, March 2nd.
The next day, on the other side of town, something just as impressive occurred during the Wichita City League High School Bowling Championships held at West Acres Bowl. Ashlyn Herzberg, a Junior at Wichita East High School, compiled games of 247, 279 & 279 for a b-e-a-utiful 805 series!!! Ashlyn won individual honors at the League Championships and also advanced to the State Championships by placing 4th at regionals. This smooth stroking left hander is the product of a terrific bowling family and has only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her bowling accomplishments.

On behalf of the Great Plains USBC Association, congratulations to both Keri and Ashlyn!!! We all look forward to seeing you excel in the future!!!
